ISRO DAY:

India is celebrating its first ever space day on 23rd August which marks one year to the successful moon landing by ISRO's Vikram lander on the dark side of the moon. This makes India the fourth country to land on the moon and the first to land near its southern polar region! The 1,471 kg lander was named after the Father of the Indian Space Programme, Vikram Sarabhai.
